Your hosts at the Haras du Vieux Château
We opened the doors of the Haras du Vieux Château with a single ambition: to share this exceptional place with guests who, like us, appreciate beautiful things, the Norman countryside and timeless moments.
A passionate classic car enthusiast and home automation fan, Nicolas spent 5 years in event management at major trade shows, then 20 years as an IT Director. A man who thrives on challenges, he now competes in circuit acceleration events.
Norman at heart, Nicolas has deep roots in this region — his mother was born in Isigny-sur-Mer, just a few kilometres from the estate. This intimate knowledge of the land allows him to guide you to the best spots, well off the beaten track.
A passionate collector, Nicolas is always delighted to welcome travellers arriving in classic vehicles — a shared passion that often leads to the best conversations!
It is this same energy and attention to detail that he brings to the estate — ensuring every stay is a carefully crafted experience, from the Wi-Fi to the swimming pool.
After 10 years in the fashion world at COS, Audrey retrained as a structural draughtsperson in the metalwork industry, where she has worked for the past 10 years. This dual culture — aesthetic and technical — shows in every corner of the estate.
Of Flemish origin, Audrey speaks Flemish and carries within her a northern culture that blends a warm welcome, a love of quality craftsmanship and a respect for traditions. A precious asset when it comes to hosting our Belgian and Dutch guests in their own language!
A natural DIY enthusiast with a professional dressmaking qualification, she brings that warm, handcrafted touch that makes all the difference in the welcome and décor of the cottages.
Parents of two children, we chose Normandy and this exceptional estate to build something unique — a place to live, share and discover, open to those who seek authenticity.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing our favourite spots: the Cotentin marshes, the Baie des Veys, the bocage lanes… and of course, the treasures of the estate itself.
See you soon at the Haras du Vieux Château
